Alcohol

A pretty good poem I wrote, especially from one of my early ones.

Alcohol is a drink.

Alcohol is a drug.

Alcohol is something that will stain

If you spill it on the rug.

There’s beer, liquor, and vodka

But red wine’s the worst.

It’ll get on your shirt

If you don’t drink it first.

It slows down your brain,

Makes you sleep.

And if you get caught drinking and driving,

The ticket wont be cheep

So if you drink

While you drive,

I hope you know that after that,

You probably won’t be alive.

Author's Note

I believe that this poem tells the truth as it is, about alcohol and the dangers of drinking and driving. I think you should tell the truth about how you feel about this poem too. In one word (or, should I say, in nine words), I mean that, "Your opinion matters to me, so speak your mind!" Thanks again! :D
