Part Three:

No Reason Worth Giving......

I know love isnt always logical,

I know its not all practical,

I know you cant analyze it like a puzzle,

But still, there must be a reason.

I've looked at the facts,

I've looked at it all,

I've ruled out all the things,

I could have done wrong,

None were viable,

None were even remotely sufficient,

In relation to this drastic decision,

The only conclusion i can come to,

Is that you have no reason for leaving me....

At least no reason worth giving.

I loved all three chapters of your poem! they spoke of a pondering that many a million souls have asked time and time again.
I find in my own experiences that the overall answer is ellusive but simple.
Sense every action has a reason behind it, we look at the basics of human nature.
People seek love, people find love, love disolves; usually because one party has an issue.
However, that issue is often based not out of lack of love, but the inability to communicate need.
A person can give another everything and the recipient may still be unhappy.
Sometimes it's simple like they feel smothered.
Other times they simply know their destiny leads them elsewhere, and they simply walk away thinking it's easier for everyone that way.

I've lived both sides of this. I've walked away saying nothing, and I've told a person everything. In the end it didn't change the course that my life needed to go.

Best thing to have the self acknowledge is that we must learn from the past, but not linger on it, less it drags us down.

Wonderfull pieces of poetry. All three of them!

this poetry series was great...i thought it was perfect in describing the pain and heartaches that come with love and how everyday people feel when it comes to relationships...in a way, it actually gave me more clarity with my thoughts and the thoughts of others...good job...=)

The colors your used and the cues were a great way of guiding a reader through your little series. It was awesome, and though the last one could use a quick grammar revision, it was utterly enjoyable. Congrats on your series, hope to read more of your work real soon.
