![]() Some DreamsA Poem by Sabrina M
Some rivers yearn to cascade and gush forth
Merging into a robust and resplendent sea Some wander away, lashing into the wilderness Meandering off course, wanton, wild with fury Some waves long to surge and spray the heavens With an aqueous awning of pearls, as they leap Some waves recede gently, yielding their glory To the quiet depths of a vast, boundless deep Some dreams chance upon a cosmic tryst Of an auroral sky with a golden dawn sweeping nigh Some dreams linger for a faint ray of a fulgent morn Waning in a shadowy umbra, slowly dimming to die Some sojourns lit by flames of enduring love Find warm havens of bliss, safe sanctums of trust Some drift to fade as aimless shadows of dusk As an ever-rolling die is cast, as dust to dust is lost © 2020 Sabrina MReviews
