I Won't Let You Drown!

I Won't Let You Drown!

A Poem by Sad Penguin
"

A poem about a dear friend of mine.

"
The forest grins as the night swallows the day
You walk with me when I need it most
The fog creeps in and devours the ground
I see your body begin to slip
Your expression changes as the ground begins to swallow
Don't worry
I won't let you drown
The night becomes even more hellish as the battle rages on
From one friend to another
We'll make it through the dawn
I wrestle valiantly without fail
Even though I'm so weak and frail
I manage to pull you out
Tears fall from my eyes
I hug you without hesitation
I won't let you drown I shout
I'd save you in a heartbeat...
There's no doubt
