Surf of friendship

Surf of friendship

A Poem by Sahil - Shore
"

One friend of mine recently asked me to write something about her . I have tried to give her identity and character in the lines through comparisons .

"
its the first time
a time in yesterday
when verses were but looked from,
from an amateur as unwise as a growing toddler
let me remind you this :
the words are only from me , not for me.

i talk about a leaf ;
so innocent she is , innocent to all who touch her
so strong she is , strong as she swings happily in wild air
but do u see her , she still can be carried away ,
far away from where she lives.

i talk of a child ;
one who belongs to oneself alone
soft as a feather can be ...soft at heart and so loved by all.
i know how much love that child can render upon anyone
unaware of it at the same moment .
but do u see the child, it still can be carried away
far from what it believes.

i love the moments i have shared and lived ...
when i grew stronger and carefree in that company,
when i started to live happier than as much as i had ever been
and so its not only that leaf and that child which got carried away
its even me who got carried away
carried away in the surf of friendship....
....do u know ?
oh ! do u know why ...??

because i still want to love the moments that i ll share and live .
