MY COMPANY

MY COMPANY

A Poem by Sahil - Shore
"

Hoping to revive the lost spirit in Guruvinder,Sahil and Rahul : MY COMPANY. Together we made new songs.After leaving college,we became engrossed in our lives n haven't composed for 2 yrs now.

"
So many days have already run by me
Since my last .
How come gave Laziness a chance :
To shatter life and smile,
Lay dust upon my pen
And rust the waves from strings ?
I perhaps had lost my sense.
I perhaps had lost my company.

It was so slow a wind
Yet burnt out the flame so fast.
It was so blunt an axe
Yet cut out the soul so sharp.
I was feeling what it could be;
I perhaps had lost that strength
The strength which came from my company.

I would not have so directly said
Lest would have brought shame;
That i had succumbed to my griefs
That i had lost desire to my monotony
That i had lost passion to my singularity
And that i had perhaps missed my company.

The excuses that i made
Were so good a refuge,
Concealing me against my own strengths and desires.
Its good time i have broken this wall
And realised the truth in me.
The truth that i m the one responsible
The truth that my lure for music is far stronger,
Stronger than the lure for this Laziness.
Perhaps it is still in proximity
The company that made what i am to me .

Wow!!! Man it was sooooooo realllllll............ I know you personally so I definitely understood what you meant to say......... The inner meaning was made clear though in the paragraph next to the title....... Nice use of slow wind and flame..... blunt...... sharply cut out....... overalll gr8!!!! Keep writing and rocking....... Now im also back....... hav got new things to create........ Hence the COMPANY is not lost at all....... Its just that we hav taken a sharp turn n company still remains there at the same place..........So nothing is lost..........
