A Soul's Evolution

A Soul's Evolution

A Poem by Kyle Buser

Day in, day out, I fight my soul’s affliction.
A way in, a way out, this plight my body’s addiction,
Stay Zen, what then? Be a soul-wright, do it with conviction.
A pen? Amen! They might learn your predilection,
For love, for vision, this is not an easy mission,
So open yourself to them, even as it drains your energy,
For a closed system, always towards maximum entropy,
Your battery near zero, no need to be a hero,
Retreat until replete, then give yourself again.
