My Innocent Soul

My Innocent Soul

A Poem by Maan

She wanted to experience the world and I gave her chance to have a look..

When the sun goes down
my soul comes back to me,
after wandering whole day,
it silently comes back to me

there's light,
there's dark,
and there's always something
which I can't know

when it leaves,
it leaves with full vitality
and comes back powerless,
like she's mugged by the world

we used to be felicitous,
till the day she wanted new
something new
like I wasn't enough

I was enough
now she says
and that is all
she wishes to say

one morning she didn't leave,
I asked the reason,
she mumbled something,
something that I didn't get

I asked again,
and there was silence,
a horrible silence,
and I knew what has happened

I  brought her out and
took her in my arms,
she was dead,
bleeding wounds were all that left

a single tear,
which I kept for her
fell on her face
absorbed in her pure skin

I hugged her lost
and slept deep
I woke up with her breaths
touching my face

I smiled and held her more,
when the sun went down
we sat alone at the rooftop
just two of us

she told me all what she saw
I told her that I know
she told me that you're right
and i just smile. .

Author's Note

I kept her safe when I was being through everything, every pain, every scream and everything that can break her inside and I told her everything, my every experience when I went back to her but she wished to experience, I should had stop her, I shouldn't had let her go but I didn't wanna stop either. It was painful but now she knows, that I wasn't wrong about anything I told. ..

Mistakes are painful but sometimes we have to do big mistakes, just to realize the way to make things better. .

There is part of our self lost in our innocence when
We have to trade our tears, for the sake of human
Suffering, you did well to capture the sensitive

Your poem has a misty, dreamlike quality. Some of the scenes and images seem disorganized and random. But that's ok in a dream or a poem.

This is beautiful. You truly tell a story with your words. Very well constructed, thanks for sharing!

Again; your ability to establish atmosphere and tone is second to none, and uncontested.

Not really much to say about what I am or anything about me. Its like I've never find myself in the spheres of something and something not, I always wander somewhere in between them, all I get is the .. more..
