Honour Speaks

Honour Speaks

A Poem by Sam Chuck Roberty

Surviving on the fringes of civilization
My aura fades even as i speak
Lost , Forgotten and Abandoned
Not me,At any cost, its success which man seeks

Synonymous i've become with the ages past
Eroded is my identity beyond recognition
Followers of me are hard to find
Lost is my worth in man's great age of reason

Once i was the prized possession
And envy of every man , small or great
Times have changed and so has man
Sealed they have their doomed fate
