The Forgotten One

This is my version of, well, you'll see.

 

 

Angels are white

demons are red

before the nights through

their appetites fed.

 

What would you say

if I reversed the lie

if I revealed where you go

when us humans die.

 

I'll tell you the story

that has forever been dead

the story about the angels in white

and the demons in red.

 

Long long ago

in the heavens above

there was a Lord and a Lady

eternally in love.

 

They longed for children

but couldn't have them you see

so They decided to create

humans like you and me.

 

The Lady created the earth

and the animals too

She was a natural mother

but the Lord had nothing to do

 

So he began to create the universe

when finished they took a look.

There was something missing in the humans

deep within, there was an empty nook

 

So to each was a soul

His to the men

and to the women her own

 

Years after they suddenly realized

Humans had vices like jealousy and greed

The Lord wanted to punish harshly

but the Lady quickly began to plead

 

'Please, my love, can't you see?

they'e our children, be forgiving!'

The Lord began to rant and rave

'How dare you, woman, stand to defy me!'

 

Standing her ground like any mother would

She took to the earth, taking control

But he still reigned over his gender

and she focused on her half of the souls

 

There it is the plain story told

there is no jesus with a heart of gold

the mother is the forgiving angel

and the lord, well

he's just another insensitive a*****e.

Please enjoy with an open mind. The end is just a quick ending...and I was in a weird mood. lol
