Thoughts from a girl in the friend zone

He doesn't know that my smile is because of him
He doesn't know that he's the only reason I can't wait to get to school
He doesn't know how much it means to me when he acknowledges me
But
He does know that we are friends
He does know that I'm like a sister to him
He does know that I am very nice to him
He's blind to my motives, my crush
It hurts that he can't see how I feel
Yet I still stay quiet
I can't be the reason our friendship fails
He needs to know that I think about him everyday
He needs to know that he's my muse when I write
But
He doesn't know any of it and he never will

Been down that road before. Your best bet is to tell him
i know there's the whole ruining your friendship thing but
if he doesn't feel the same atleast you'll know
plus if he doesn't feel the same, if he's a true friend
he will understand you and still.be your friend. The reason i say this is
because its not worth living a life of regrets. Great write! I enjoyed your wonderful poem
