In Clearer Skies

*new version from old profile - see link on my about me* I use to call this one "Together Again" I wrote this for a girl who lived in another town because we hard were able to see each other.

You leave me like the sun leaves the Earth to darkness

Then you return to me like a beautiful sunrise

Thus bringing me new life and hope

Though the moon is beautiful, it cannot compare

It cannot compare at all to your wonderful ray of light

The light calls out to me, begs me come closer

I, a simple rose, reaching out to your grace

Now a gloomy gray cloud, being the distance between us

Prevents me from being with you

Have no fears, have no tears

Clear skies will come again

Us together once again
