Don't ask

Don't ask

A Poem by Sangria Green

I dyed my hair

and stole the sky

wore the stars

don’t ask why

My shades were studded

You could die

love letters worthless

they can’t fly

Memories nothing

don’t ask why

I pierced my ears

We rode the wind

This wound you made

won’t ever mind

You asked me to

I stole the sky

Let’s make up

Don’t ask me shy

love letters worthless

they can’t fly

Memories nothing

I said don’t ask me why

I wore a dress

what a mess

I could die

woke up and stole the sky
