17 years Dad

17 years Dad

A Poem by Sanity
"

Merry Christmas...inspired by my dad kicking me out after a fight

"
17 years Dad

of opening presents with you on christmas morning

17 years Dad

and this year is the first I will never have that

17 years Dad

to grow a bond of admiration and respect

17 years Dad

to have someone to look up to

17 years Dad

to always have someone to count on

17 years Dad....

before it all crumbled away

17 years Dad....

to have all of that broken

17 years Dad....

to have my trust betrayed

17 years Dad....

for you to abandon me

17 years Dad....

to have a part of me die

18 years Dad....

and I still miss you

I'm so sorry this happened to you, its not fair at all when parents abandon their child. This poem has the sincerity of your emotion throughout it, though I'm very sorry that happened to you.

Buongiorno,

This made me hurt for you. Full to the brim with emotions. Exquisite!

Arrivederci!

A sad ending to the poem. Hard when two people separate. I recommend silence. Negative lead to both people losing and two broken people and hearts. Thank you for sharing the excellent poem.
