Gathering Rasberries

Gathering Rasberries

A Poem by Sunflower/Sara Kendrick
"

Short, styled after George Herbert(Anglo Welsh). 8,6,8,6,7,7,7,7, syllables per line..Rhyme scheme...a,b,a,b,c,c,c,c,

"

As I gather the rasberries

     Thinking only of you

With Dove's coo to entertain me

As he sings his love, too

I will have to wash in water

Damaged ones will have to curr

Like God takes the damaged sir

Transforms into another

As I gather the rasberries

Thinking only of you..that first line did it for me,i wish you would have built on this poem more but sometimes it is best to keep it short.
