In The Castle Of The KingA Poem by Sunflower/Sara KendrickAllegory, Kyrielle, etc.
Previous Version This is a previous version of In The Castle Of The King. Like a beggar I stood without Clothed in tattered dress of cheap flax The rich estate Lord with much clout Called me in, I was surprised at kind acts
Inside table set very fine Ladden with scrumptous varied food On which the master would soon dine How could I expect to share this mood
When I extremely poor indeed But he had plan to draw me in Give me some of his meat as need For he had killed the fattest lamb
Without blemish__spotlessly clean This he would serve favorite guest In this castle of the great king Come dine you're invited my blessed © 2010 Sunflower/Sara KendrickReviews
