Like a beggar I stood without

Clothed in tattered dress of cheap flax

The rich estate Lord with much clout

Called me in, I was surprised at kind acts

Inside table set very fine

Ladden with scrumptous varied food

On which the master would soon dine

How could I expect to share this mood

When I extremely poor indeed

But he had plan to draw me in

Give me some of his meat as need

For he had killed the fattest lamb

Without blemish__spotlessly clean

This he would serve favorite guest

In this castle of the great king

Come dine you're invited my blessed

makes me think of arthurian castles and yes, all those medieval themes where something stands for something else. i like this. like something played by a troubadour.
