Might Force

Might Force

A Poem by Sunflower/Sara Kendrick

What a mighty force is flood water

Coursing on its way to the sea

Forcing ones way backward impossibility

Carried away in the flow easiest to be

What about you and what about me

What will our course be this day

What course will attraction drawing be

Right, wrong, straddle the fence, play

Decisions, decisions what choice today

Help my eyes be focused on the prize

The prize of the higher calling stay

Stay focused don't ever become unwise

Interesting description of our lives. Sometimes we are carried along with the currents and we are always faced with choices. The image of a floodwater makes me think that sometimes we don't have a choice, at least not the choice of swimming against the mighty force of a raging flood.
