Only a Bloody Knife

A little on the dark and regretful side...I had to write a poem for my english class and I came up with this, but I didn't want my teacher to think I was psycho, so I didn't use it.

i now regret what I have done,

an angry act,

that accomplished none.

 

i killed his life,

now he's gone.

left Only a Bloody Knife,

of a man so strong.

 

a sinner he was,

no reason he had.

a sinner I was,

for getting too mad.

 

he is dead,

by my dear hand.

it is said,

i took the right stand

 

he may have shot

my dear young child,

what right have I got

to be just as wild?

Author's Note

I just have a question, should I make the first three lines into four? Does it mismatch too much?

Advice is of course, appreciated. =]

And P.S., there is a reason I didn't capitalize correctly.
