Dakota

A Poem by Saraplenty

I watch him now

in this moment.

So carefree

dancing along to

the groove

of

dancing with his self

with wild abandon

and non-pretense.

In his white-t

faded jeans

ripped at the knee

lifted up by Chucks

rock star swagger

that comes so

easy

so natural

And I think

as I smile with pride

He's going to break some poor girl(s) heart someday.

Over and over.

Very heartfelt, and very happy poem, I like that. This is a heavy dedication, nice work.

Hmmm, I think it's probably better to be the heartbreaker than to be the broken hearted. I could see him, too. You write very descriptively, as a writer should. Well done!

I am awesome. And sometimes, I vomit things on to paper to aid in breathing. I write for me, to release what it is I am feeling at that moment, and because I like turning those feelings into so.. more..
