An Awkward Talk

A FML moment.

INT. - WITHIN A HOUSE - DAY

JILL(name does not have to stay as Jill) is sitting, minding her own business, when her FATHER comes up and sits himself next to her.

FATHER:

Daughter, there's something we gotta talk about.

JILL:

What's that?

FATHER:

You're growing up, and it's time to tell you this.

JILL:

Okay?

FATHER:

It's a bit awkward, and you probably won't like listening to it,

but you gotta know eventually.

JILL:

Ohh, if it's what I think it is, trust me, I already know about it.

FATHER:

No, no, listen to me. This is something that you will deal

with a lot in life. And struggle with when it comes to dating and men.

You see---

JILL:

Dad! I got it!

FATHER:

I'm just trying to prepare you for life here, honey--

JILL:

I understand that, and I can guarantee you that I got it.

FATHER:

--And it's my responsibility to let you know of these things.

And I won't let you leave until you hear what I am about

to tell you.

JILL:

(sighs)

Alright. Let's just get this over with.

FATHER:

Darling, life is going to be hard for you because...

......you're ugly.
