Sinful

Sinful

A Poem by Sarah Stephen
"

An acrostic poem

"
Sweet ignorance shan't save you
Into a downward spiral you fall
Now you have been entranced
Follow your lover 'to a world of bliss
Unknowingly you sin
Lust

Now this is good. Powerful and well constructed if a little contrived!

this is quite a limited form, so considering that; I'm pretty impressed, better than anything I could come up with! You made it sound unforced, good job.

Nice job! This worked out well.

The essential message of this poem reminds me a little bit of the sermon Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God by Jonathan Edwards. Nice job of representing a classic thought in a new form.

In so few words. Took reader on trip into desire and passion. Hard to stop the emotion when the passion overcome the mind. No weakness in the excellent poem.
