At The End of July

At The End of July

A Poem by sasha

1.

Old children’s chair

Stands alone at waste containers

Seat worn-out

2.

Clouds in the sky

Floating over the roofs

Play of light conjures

3.

Go all misty-eyed

Whenever I fall head-long

Into the past

 4.

Grasp the nettle

Hear how the spurs jingle

Help on the way

and they will pick that seat up and carry it away along with my memories that jingle in my mind...and prick and sting me.

quite a nice write....there is something abstract with this...and there is also a feeling of being trapped in some life we can't get out of...the sun shines over the roofs...but i can hardly see it.
