Late November

Late November

A Poem by sasha

I am here sitting all alone
asleep waking at uncertain hours
unsure what is going on
be by way of doing something for me
or just be there at that grey day
on the verge of late November
do you feel how long the time floats
seized with a great insecurity
with a wistful look on our faces
people will never know about us
and never be told our secret longings
more distant and more solemn
let them all live in peace and quiet

i like this as almost a sister poem to the october piece. Perhaps the bathrobe got tied tighter...the trust went away...for how long?

will the speaker open herself up once again?

that remains to be seen.
