Separate Paths

Separate Paths

A Poem by Savannah Bly
"

Go your own way.

"

Separate paths

We are walking close together

Then there is a fork in the road

All of you go to the left

While I go to the right

Occasionally we can see,

Through the bushes, each other

Yet we don’t know if we

Will be able to hug

Or to touch each other

Will the path emerge again?

We do not know, but we hope

As we continue on these

Separate paths

Friends come into our lives and are close to us then life gets in the way and we have to go our separate ways. They never really leave us thou. They remain part of us. Good job.
