Carcasses

Carcasses

A Poem by Savannah Bly
"

Politics be damned!

"

Beneath my bed, black with night;

inhabitants with their antenna

heads staring,

as though I interrupted a big corporate banquet.

Their jelly-filled mouths going back

to crunching on a carcass

of their own.

You are welcome. .....^)........
ah these insects, very much like those rich ones who keep getting richer feeding on the crumbs of the poor.

great allegory presented here...and i love the brevity---less is more.
