Alice sweet Alice

Alice sweet Alice

A Poem by Sbchristie

A table full of gold, you scream for the silver.
I tried to deliver. Please forgive me.
I'm broken, fallen humble.
Naked on the floor. I beg you.

Alice stay near me.
You hate me, I can't stand you.
But I can't live, with out you.
Alice, sweet Alice.

I watched you burn the tip of the knife
before cutting into your skin.
Alice, stop bleeding.
You took my hand, I screamed as you did the same thing.
Soul mates forever.

I released you, but you came back to me.
 Alice, you're haunting me.
The clock, struck twelve.
You pushed me into the glass
now it's shattered.

Turned onto my back let the shards dig in and you laugh.
Alice, sweet Alice why do you not
extend your hand?
There isn't a hatter or a cat,
a white rabbit or creature to
help me through this wonderland.
Have I gone mad?

I stand broken glass presented in my flesh
drew a map to my final destination. A mirror in the bathroom.
So I stood over the sink. Alice I can feel you,
soul mate for ever until I looked up only to see me.
Alice, sweet Alice.

Why are you haunting me?
