Attack

Attack

A Poem by SimplyDisastrous

I'm on fire, my skins ablaze

My insides are screaming, but I'm not fazed

I'm here to do one thing, I'm on a f*****g mission

And it needs to be done with the utmost precision

It's not a f*****g joke, not anymore

There's no going back, I've already started the war

Can't turn back now, s**t, I'm too deep in it

Heart's racing, the bottom of my stomach is where my anger sits

You might not see it now, but you will soon enough

I'm in it to win it, anyone in my path i'll be quick to rebuff

You made me this way, a  leopard in its stance of defense

waiting, preying, my back straight, my shoulders tense

No one will see it coming, the soul fact

So, get ready, be prepared,

for when I attack.

Wow! This could be one of my favourite poems ever. I really love the way you express your emotions. I can feel the anger and frustration. Very well written. REally enjoyed reading this :)

I like this poem. Powerful and to the point. The directness and desire to attack allow the reader to feel the drive and anger for a battle. A outstanding poem. Thank you.

A really deep emotional piece. Though you speak of physical attack, the reader knows you mean attack on a whole different level, a level of emotion. The pen is mightier than the sword, I suppose. Excellent rhyme scheme as well. An excellent piece.

Hey. I used to be on here alot when I was 15. Now, not so much. I'm 18 now and I'm not nearly as depressing as I used to be, but still depressing enough. Message me and feel free to read my old poems... more..
