hole

hole

A Poem by Mason Vail
"

My 14-year-old dog died yesterday and I've hidden the artifacts - bowls, toys, etc. - that serve as painful reminders... but I can't hide the dog-door we had built into the house just for him.

"
a door of no use
sized for a friend now buried
a hole in my home
