She Walked Out

She Walked Out

A Poem by w
"

bad can be good and good can be bad

"

I drop to me knees and bawl

as I watch her walk out.

She can't see me anymore -

if she ever did

and I don't think

she ever heard me,

not a word,

not a cry.

I don't know why

I wast my tears

on her pathetic presence

and not the lack of,

but I have to know,

I want to know,

that I cannot

be the victim

anymore.

Quick writes that flow instantaniously from thought through fingers can be some of the best writes.... and this is one of them. :)

The ending brought it together. The emotion was strong and very relatable.

Reading it feels like listening to someone sob. In other words, I like it.
