Why is it that I Stand Still?

I am tired of asking and never being asked,
I am tired of running behind things,
Not knowing, that they aren't mine,

That, To me they never belonged.
It is said, Love lasts forever,
It is said, Everything for the best,
Then what is it, That i cannot see,
Then what is it, I cannot comprehend?

On Days that I am Lonely,

I would rather not be on my own,
On Days people surround me,
I would rather be disowned.
I wrote a thousand letters,
I cried a zillion tears,
I can't change so many things,
There's so much that can't be undone.

It is said, In life
One should move on,
It is said, Through Living,
One becomes strong.
Then Why is it, that I stand still?
Then Why is the world,
In front of my eyes,
Crumbling down.
