A Stranger in town

A Stranger in town

A Poem by Seepz

In the darkest of nights,

When I walked alone,

You walked past me,

A stranger in town…

I wondered who you were,

I wondered where and how,

And I thought it’s too late,

To have found you now…

And then you stopped,

Looked back at me,

Held my hand, taught,

All things, I never could be…

While I followed you,

Through the maze,

That you had built,

In years and days.

Feeling lost and confused,

Down sometimes and happy too,

Through Failures and successes,

Through heartbreaks and spite.

I slowly found warmth,

And some light,

I slowly unearthed,

Treasures profound..

Now as you lead me,

And I follow you,

Sometimes blindly,

Some days trusting you.

I know the darkness,

Will fade and I will find,

At the end of the rainbow,

A place where the sun shines..
