Footprints in my heart..
Friends, foes, sweethearts,

Emotions unabated, feelings mixed,
Sentiments that swept me off my feet..

Thoughts erased from the slates of my mind...
Reveries i wish within me i could revive

Prayers to the god unknown,
Prayers that were answered and i smiled on,

Love i know i never had in me,
The tenderness in another's eyes that i see..


Footprints unlike impressions in the sand,
unscathed by water and wind...

Imprints nothing can negate..
Imprints so sheer, so innate,

Impressions on my soul all bare,
Memories of this lifetime spare..

Footprints in my heart,
