Burning Blue Raven

Burning Blue Raven

A Poem by Sehkmet

Burning blue raven

burning sadness and drowning lies wont mystify the time

spent wondering the thoughts you hide between those eyes

Forever gone you’ve awakened beneath

The cloud that showers life to the mountain heath

But so sad the fallen whom never escaped

I’d never sacrifice this sight for that fate

Burning blue raven and your anchored mist that float just around our eyes

as the world begins to mimic burning sadness and drowning lies

I promise to loath but free you from your demise.

And as I awake woven in the iridescent aisles of the spring new born grass pushed calmly before the winds and rain

My tears could fall forever to equate distance as pain

Just as the cloud that showers life upon all mundane

Yet further from home just between those eyes

Where that burning blue raven stalks the swallowtail butterfly

A bud of love make blossom an attempt

As a sunburst sky for minds unkempt

Through and over we drift and we soar

Between and under our skin sparks until sore

How lovely the sight the sound the bells bound

The affection that trickles inside I’ve found

In the leaves of the tallest tree

Rooted tightly in the deepest sea

Sewn to finally become a meaningful seed

A burning blue raven begins to dream
