A Poem by Marie Starr

unglue your tongue

talk to wind … talk to

trees … talk to streams

flowing over pebbles …

talk to single blades of

grass … talk to me …

say anything … say

everything … say nothing

at all … just turn your

head toward the sound of

sunlight … rest your eyes

on the dance of leaves …

breathe

inhale hope in tiny particles …

exhale fear invisibly …

let it go the way of words …

falling at your feet …

petals of promise …

forming …

paths of purpose …

paths of peace …

release

Very nice it flowed well and the meaning is really honest.
You put some of the best visuals I've ever seen in here and they're
the best because they stand out and grab u. I agree that we need to
speak our minds, not to hurt someone on purpose but to show ourselves
that we have a say in the world, and that our words do actually mean something.
Very nice poem I really enjoyed it!

I'm so glad I discovered this tonight. You have written a piece of poetry that stands out like a bright flower against a blue sky. Wonderful, wonderful poem.

thank you...
You are a real poet. This piece babbled like small water over stones. It had the glint of sun off water. This one took me to your side the day you wrote it.

I found this lovely. The release which comes with the Autumnal air. The magic of change & release. to let out our words like falling leaves. I have been as you can imagine quite transfixed on breathe as of late so I loved what you have done with it here. Very nice!
