Farewell, Thee

Farewell, Thee

A Poem by Seriana

Farewell, Thee…

It will be a long time passed,

Afore the mention of a new.

Grasshoppers,

Dead…

worn, chipped cement…

and the stale scent of faded skunk.

Why these things should become heavily familiar

when the veins of love bleed dry the cistern.

To this,

I bid adieu.
