Wild Horses

Wild Horses

A Poem by Amber Nicole

Silently thinking to herself

thonderous thoughts

that could paralyze

any grown man

twice her size.

From my viewpoint

I see her walking,

by and by she saunters,

like the rustling wind

over shallow waters.

Her hair is trampled,

her clothes are torn.

The look in her eyes

tell me more

than the constant changing of the skies.

She walks and leaves,

a silhouette on the horizon.

Gallently streaming through the air,

a wisp of lonliness

I only see there.

Poem is amazing. Your description is powerful. Many lines stood out. I could feel the wildness in the woman and her escaping into the wind. A excellent poem.

This is a very well done description of a woman walking, away from what I don't know. But she sees herself, not walking, but runnung free as the wild horses in the picture.

An excellent poem.
