This poem is written for someone who I am falling for I like him cause of all the reasons in this poem, plus one night, when I was troubled and hurting myself, he almost killed himself to make me stop

I know you love,
Our intricate design,
on the tapestry of fate,
our complicated hearts,
when combined,
become simplistic.

He sees me for my heart,
not my body,
he adores me for myself,
my brain,
my love,
my words

He understands the hurt,
that opens my veins,
he knows when I hurt,
because he reads the emotion,
that is clearly written in my eyes,
tattooed to my heart,
bleeding into his hands,
scabbing over,
covered by his own heart,
slowly healing each other,
slowly loving one another,
separated physically,
but never mentally,
our connection draws too deep,
our attraction too strong.
