I Love You

This goes out to my friend. He is important to me.

You call me,
whenever I ask.

You hold me,
Whenever I need it.

You smoke me up,
when I am depressed.

You make me smile,
as the tears glide down.

No matter what,
you can always make me smile,
you can always make me laugh,
you can always make me see,
a reason to survive.

I want to tell you,
What I think love is.

Love,
to me,
is the emotion,
of when this happened,
it can survive forever,
or for a short time,
but there till the end of time,
no matter how weak,
it has become.

You may think of love,
as something else,
but for my definition,
I want you to know,
ILoveYou.

By my definition,
I love you.

Thank you for being here,
for making me smile,
and for trying,
to take the sadness,
out of my eyes,
and out of my heart. <3

A funny little read. Apostrophes are always interesting to write because you can voice how you truly feel to others without the pressure of searching for a word in their presence. Thinking about it and then writing it is always something to cherish, even if the moments you think of are about "getting smoked up." lol
