New Generation (Shades Calamity)

New Generation (Shades Calamity)

A Poem by Seyi Ojenike

I see skirts and trousers
Walking endlessly about
Like blind people
In sun shades,
Sun shades?
Even in the house?
Fashion, they say
Has fashion gone mad?
They are full of deceit
Cuddling themselves at stands
In dark nights,
Love?
Still in shades.
This people must follow fashion's
Ways,
I am tied down to think
Of fashion as blind.

Fashion is a fleeting trend that some people obsess over way to much. I get wanting to look good, but sometimes its ok to throw on a pair of sweats! Nice poem, I liked the message!
