I think when the heart is broken. Every conceivable emotion known to man comes through.

A beautiful display of darkness, of truth. What's more, sadness makes such a lonely bedfellow. Some emotions are best kept hidden for fear of far more Everything!

Though tis such a sad poem,in a strange way it helps to share.. just a peep.

This is a very clever poem, both the writing and the picture. Neither detracts from the other (as often happens in other poems) and together they make a splendid, and harmonious, impact. The silence of the broken heart is perhaps heard in the roaring of the thunder and oceans! Wonderfully done.

I love the way your descriptions lead up to an indisputable idea -- we're always most alone as we endure heartbreak, huh? Nicely succinct & well-stated with good rhyme & rhythm (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

the sound of the heart breaking----you have to listen so closely....the pain is numbing and silent....and oh so lonely...

beautiful echo of pain here.
