Masterpiece (RE: Erren)

The words sprawl out on paper,

pulling you inside yourself.

All your emotions unleash,

staining the blank sheet.

Your whole heart is released,

corrupting the white.

Without mercy you mind goes forward,

unrelenting and not at all kind.

The deeper you go inside,

the stronger emotions begin to feel.

They persistently plague your mind,

forcing themselves out through your hands.

The longer you stay there writing,

the more it begins to take shape

It takes the form of something beautiful,

something you didn't know you could create.

As you begin to read what you've written,

you sit back astonished and awe stricken.

It draws out memories you remember you had,

wishes you've never uttered allowed.

Finally, at long last,

you've created your masterpiece.

Author's Note

Got the idea from Erren and something that he wrote. It was beautiful, hauntingly so, so I decided to write a similar poem on my own personal experiences.
