Rose Colored Glass

Rose Colored Glass

A Poem by Shairan

The rose colored glass shattered and then finally I saw the world as it was; cruel and unforgiving.
The lies, the fairy tale  I had weaved as a child was so perfect.
I was so entangled on them.
Wrapped in their beauty and suddenly they were crushed and everything I believed was ripped away
from me.
