Willow Tree

Willow Tree

A Poem by Shairan

The dark clouds hovering the night sky,
a noose hanging from the willow tree.
Knots, knots and the neck,
the dead bodies turning in the grave.

A blood churning scream followed by the dead silence,
then there was blood, blood and blade.
the metallic smell of the blood ,
and the smell of the dead.
