Hollow Ghosts

Hollow Ghosts

A Poem by Shay

I'm an empty hollow, my brains full of ghosts
And it's telling me no more tonight.
My fingers pressed against my throat,
And I'm fighting to jump inspite.
I can't save them all, I can't win them all,
I'm slowly loosing myself in the process.
I can't loose you now, I can't breathe right now,
Because when you walk away it's the hardest feeling of all..

So reach into my bones and find something worth holding on to
Because they are there for you, you can break them if you want to.
Tie my heart to a string and beat it black and blue,
It will still beat for you. It will still beat for you.
I can give you all my things.
Right down to my soul, and you can strip away the walls to find something raw and untold.
I can give you all of me and you can take it away.
I can be hollow with ghosts if you would just turn around and stay.
