Her Closet

Her Closet

A Poem by LuxeLanguage

Hidden, she found something that she wanted to forget
She lived her life pretending that it never existed once the memories faded away
The skeletons she never spoke of because of the pain
For so long she prayed that this day would never come
She never thought that her past would come back to haunt her
She slammed the door shut and dropped to her knees instantly

At that moment she felt as if she died
