God made me and you

God made me and you

A Poem by Infinite hexes

Umm….

Hi there,

I love you

But I’m too shy to tell you

So I thought of an old trick
Red roses are sick

But just as I was about to pick one

A thought hit me-

God created flowers, not me

Then this got me thinking

How can I create something?

Something that is completely mine

My idea of love

There is nothing God didn’t make

From fabrics, food and sake

To emotion and words

And animals count too

Humans- that’s me and you

That thought made my day

Because I finally realized

That perfect present

That’s only mine to give

It’s love

Made by God

For me to give you

So here’s a kiss-

From heaven

Thank you for the gentle kiss of a loving heart. You sent a loving thought to me today. I usually like my poetry to rhym, but there are a few poets who can pull off the art of word play enough to get the read to flow well. You did a good job as far as I'm concerned. :-)
Be well.

Haha aww you are soo sweet :) Thank you for pointing those out you are a really nice reviewer :)
I loved that!! I don't think there's many people that share the view that, in truth, God made everything, even some who claim to believe so it was refreshing for me to read this. Excellent work and thought put into it!!

you are welcome and thank you!
I really like this. It is a good read and God did create the world so if he didn't love us we wouldn't be here. I have been told that God will always be there no matter what.

This is so cute and innocent. It's nicely written and portrays the image of love in its most innocent form. Well done, also, I like the font choice it's very fitting for the piece. ^_^
