THE NARROW

THE NARROW

A Poem by TerryDarcy-Ryan akaSheerTerror
"

"vacant rows of burdened clay "

"

shade bleeds a velvet texture

stretching far and wide
strides to smother
clawed hands grasping thread
rip apart layers to shed
bear the stains of men
rise and swagger free
struggle to breathe
steps in spites deceit
skipping stones of jaded need
trail of tears in layered debris
vacant rows of burdened clay
broken back gathering neat
harvesting the last belief

I come from Seattle area and I can completely feel the vibes- I almost get in memories here. I don’t usually like picture or music in peoples writing but you connect so well to the image that even this picture I feel the music pulsing.
