THE SEDUCTION OF RHAPSODY

THE SEDUCTION OF RHAPSODY

A Poem by TerryDarcy-Ryan akaSheerTerror

she rarely pleads
a reverence of meek
leaves a want indistinct
remedy considers
splintered, splinters of pieces
each path still breathes
sleeps sedate and quaint
bends with the strand
holding tight each scream
sewn in the seams
scatters of a vine
flourishing on the brink
the reliant affliction
presses tight on this action
plunges the needle deep
pulls to each beat
fingers play the string
bleeding rhapsody to sing
touches a melody
pressed against agonies ear
 moans in a whisper
“you are free”

mysterious and intriguing whilst laced with feeling. a strongly emotive piece of writing. freedom from agony not to be taken lightly. title, words, imagery and pic all powerful. where darkness meets light - very cathartic. well said and well done ... :)

Wonderfully expressed, to me this speaks of being free in the final hours of death ;-}

This is art. It is mysterious, stunning, provocative, and alludes many things. But in the end its interpretation is left to the reader. It's like a fascinating web that catches you within its spidery appetite. one I enjoyed very much being caught in.
