The Darkness

The Darkness

I stare into the light, facing the end.
Where I will go, no one knows.
The light is blinding, and I fear what is just around the bend.
I plunge into the water, the eternal sea that flows.

Through the tunnels I go, and it grows cold.
I am young, they tell me, I will learn.
I disagree, being only 20 years old.
As I grow farther away, For my home I yearn.
