Oh Crow, You've A Silver Soul

Oh Crow, You've A Silver Soul

A Poem by Shidare
"

I saw this crow the other day, soaring and behaving like an eagle. He seemed to try so hard to ascend the heights, just like man strives for holiness.

"
Ebony wings who scratch the Sun's palace
Where's your raucous clan?
A crow loves his scavenging filth
Amongst a debaucherous bunch
But you I see solitaire
In a manner likened to an eagle
Night flaps of restless plunder
Converted to an aether swooner
Perhaps, my ashen bird
You've tasted the sin of trash
And after vomiting the foil and dung
Your palate found cleansing in the clouds?
So precious to observe your efforts!
Attempting the soars of an eternal embrace
Like the heavenly eagle
But you've only a silver soul
Which Sun hasn't enlightened his gold

A lone crow is indeed a rarity
around here it is noisy Ravens very rarely alone and always plundering the peasants but every time I look at my small dog it is Ravens, rather than Eagles I am glad to see

Hello, Shidare! :)
I enjoyed reading this poem. Its an interesting thought that a bird should be out of place, flying in the sky.
